Crisis Line Services
Staff members and trained volunteers provide immediate response 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to crisis calls. This service provides confidential crisis intervention by phone for survivors of domestic violence (704-283-7233) and sexual assault (704-283-7770).
Crisis Intervention & Referral
Crisis Intervention services are available on the telephone or in-person 24 hours a day by staff members and trained volunteers.
Transportation
Safe Shelter
Safe shelter is provided to survivors of domestic violence and their children 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Counseling & Support Groups
Individual and group counseling is provided for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. It is not necessary to be residing in the shelter to receive DV counseling. Out of shelter domestic violence survivor groups are currently held at the SARC-Tree House CAC, along with groups for survivors of sexual assault and child abuse.
Case Management
Survivor’s Advocacy
All Turning Point clients are educated about their legal rights and options and are accompanied when going to court as needed. It is not necessary to be residing in the DV shelter to receive Survivors’s Advocacy.

Volunteer Program
Trained volunteers assist staff and help provide services to survivors of domestic violence and their children who reside in the shelter. The SARC volunteers also respond to the crisis line and hospital to provide direct service to survivors of sexual assault.
